1. At center of the picture is Bebe Ouellette's Gas filling station, circa early 1930 ...located on the corner of Main Street and Cremerie Street. Notice the sign for the Grand Isle Cremerie on the rooftop with and arrow pointing up the street.   At the left is Florent Sanfacon's building- what was the old Post Office, The newer Post Office is now located accross the street on the corner of Main and Traverse Street.

Both buildings are still standing today, but the gas station is now a house, and the Post office has seen better days

-Notice the "Rams Head Ale" sign to the right of the Shell sign, , Rams Head was made by

the Adam Scheidt Bro, Co, Norristown, PA.

2.  This the Grand Isle Creamery up above on now Creamerie Street.(old Fire Station Road)   Owned by Mr. J. Cyrille Beaulieu.  He moved to Madawaska and subsequently bottled Brunswick Beverages.
